Nadsa de Monteiro, The Elephant Walk's Executive Chef, teaches classes in the kitchen of The Elephant Walk in Boston. The classes generally run on Saturdays, begin at 10:30 a.m., last for about 3 hours, and include a light lunch. The cost is $69 per person.

January 23 - "Gourmet & Gluten-Free!"
We discovered several years ago with the some education and encouragement from a number of earnest guests at The Elephant Walk who were also sufferers of celiac disease and looking for a safe, gourmet meal, The Elephant Walk's Cambodian core menu is already substantially gluten-free! (It certainly doesn't hurt that rice is safe...) With advance planning much of our French menu can be safely adapted as well.
After some gentle prodding from some of our guests who are celiacs, Nadsa took the obvious next step and prepared this Gluten-Free Cooking Class, now a regular part of our "curriculum." - Please join Nadsa as she shares just how easy it is to prepare a rich, exciting, gourmet, gluten-free meal with strong global influences. Just because some traditional pantry staples are off-limits doesn't mean celiacs can't eat just as well as the rest of us!

February 20 - "Vegetarian and Vegan Cambodian Cuisine"

Cancellation and Refund Policy...
--- In order to give our instructors adequate time to fill last-minute empty seats, students are required to give The Elephant Walk 48 Hours Notice (for example, prior to 10:30 a.m. the Thursday before a Saturday class) in order to either cancel - and receive a refund - or move their registration to another class. If such notice is given within 48 hours of the class session, the registration is forfeit and cannot be refunded or reused.
--- The Elephant Walk Restaurant Group instructors reserve the right to cancel or postpone a class for any reason. In the event of such a cancellation, participants can register for another class of their choice in which space is available. Refunds are available on paid registrations upon request in the event of an instructor cancellation.
--- There are no refunds under any circumstances on Cooking Class Gift Certificates.
