I just wanted to thank you again for an amazing wedding we had at the Elephant Walk on Sunday the 18th. Everything was absolutely perfect!! Both families were so impressed with the restaurant and had such a great time. It will forever be a special place for us :)

My husband and I recently held a post-wedding celebration at the Elephant Walk in Cambridge. We had gotten married in Vegas and wanted to throw an equally fun local party for our friends and family who could not attend the actual nuptials.
Well we could not be happier with the Elephant Walk. We planned everything with the manager Phillip. He was so helpful and nice throughout the entire process. And we had a lot of food allergies and things like that we had to contend with. So we weren't exactly the easiest couple to work with. He worked closely with the kitchen to make sure we didn't have any allergy-related issues AND that our food was amazing.
The bar staff was awesome too. We sprang/sprung (hmm, not sure there...) for an open bar and we worked out a special menu of the cocktails, wines by the glass and beers that we loved, so of course the bar was kicking all night. The guys were awesome, fast and friendly. The pear martinis were the biggest hit of the night. They're so good that even my 85-year old grandmother, who doesn't drink, had 2.
The space was great. We rented out the entire bottom floor which has 4 distinct sections. This was so awesome because our 160 guests were able to pick the atmosphere they liked the best on their own. So one room was all the older ladies who wanted to be away from the music. The bar was filled with the younger crowd. A smallish side room ended up having a bunch of people chit chatting and eating. And the biggest room became the "party" room...which by the end of the night had erupted into a full blown dance party (we supplied our own music via amp and ipod and ran our own system, but I know that they can help if that's something someone else doesn't have access to).
Anyway, I can't say enough good things about our experience. We also love to go there and sit at the bar and eat occasionally. The food is inventive and totally reasonably priced. I LOVE the short ribs. So delicious.
Anyway, if you have an event to plan, you should talk to Phillip.
Oh, I almost forgot the best part. In planning for the bar menu, we ended up having a tasting...not a food or cake tasting like most couples getting married--a bar tasting. They made us little versions of cocktails so we could pick what we liked best. It was ridiculous amounts of fun and of course we took the T home after!

First of all, I'd like to thank Phillip for taking the time to meet with us last week and for the wonderful tasting we had last week at the Elephant Walk. We were very impressed with the food and service and have decided to book the Elephant Walk for our wedding reception this fall.

Gentleman, firstly I cannot thank you enough for a succesful reception celebration. The guests were very taken by the hospitality and I have to thank you and your workers for this. Infact I had a guest ask me about the selection of wines that was served that evening.

This is the first time we have been, and our first time with the whole Cambodian food thing. Our waitress was fabulous about giving us a hand picking out dishes we would enjoy - and she was so right!!! The food was fabulous, drinks were great, our server personable and checked on us just the right amount, answered all our questions - it was a great evening! We will be back. Give Elephant Walk a try - I don't think you will be disappointed!

We hosted a birthday dinner for my father at the Elephant Walk on Beacon Street on Saturday night March 3rd. The service was absolutely FLAWLESS. Of course the food was delicious and interesting as it always is, but I wanted to write and comment specifically on the quality of service provided by Laila. We had a party of 8, which has all of its own challenges. Plus it was clearly a special occasion for us - we had a cake and balloon, and Laila made everything smooth, comfortable, and absolutely enjoyable. My father had a wonderful time and everyone commented on what a good experience it was. We particularly appreciated the extra sauce and drizzle over the sliced pieces of our cake. Laila is a wonderful employee with an excellent sense of humor. Please pass on our thanks to her.

We just wanted to thank you so much for everything tonight. The lady who greeted us when we walked in made sure that the lights were off in the room (so that Lindsey would be surprised), the waiters were amazing (especially Luke), the menus were perfect, and the food was delicious as always. Everything went incredibly smoothly, and we could not have enjoyed ourselves more. Thank you so much, to you and everyone at the restaurant, for a wonderful evening!

I came in tonight with a party of 8 to celebrate my step father's 70th birthday. I wanted to tell you that we had a marvelous experience at your establishment. The appetizers,salads, entrees, wine and dessert were delectable. But what stood out even more was the service that we received. Our server was Lajla and I cannot say enough good things about her. Either you have the ability to be a top not waitress or you don't and she most certainly DOES. It's not easy to accommodate 8 people along with their gifts and balloons in a busy restaurant but she did and she did it well. I never write or do surveys about my experience at places but felt compelled to as a result of how wonderful of a time we all had.
I will be back soon and I will be adding your establishment to my short list of places in boston where I wine and dine clients.

I’m sorry that this thank-you note has been delayed as I meant to let you know right after my birthday dinner at you restaurant on the 16th how much we enjoyed the event and how much I appreciated all that was done by your staff to make it a special event. The management and waitstaff could have not been more attentive or professional. Even correcting our error when ordering by not mentioning vegan for one of the guests was handled with aplomb and without even a hint of recrimination….it was a totally wonderful time. Let me add a “nicely done” regarding the new look to your main floor. It made the ambience even better. Thanks again for all you and your staff have done for us. We’ve enjoyed every experience – and we’ll be back!
