Our first video! - "Accidental Chefs"

We hope you enjoy this peek at the unusual backgrounds of our chef-owners, none of whom ever imagined they'd find themselves immersed in legitimate careers as restaurant chefs:

Longteine "Nyep" De Monteiro is The Elephant Walk's founding chef and author of The Elephant Walk Cookbook. Her younger daughter, Nadsa de Monteiro is The Elephant Walk's Executive Chef, responsible for menus and culinary training at all our restaurants. You'll find Nadsa most often at The Elephant Walk in Boston. Gérard Lopez, Nyep's elder daughter's husband, is Chef at The Elephant Walk in Cambridge.
