As we hope you know, we are a Benefit Restaurant®, committing 3% of our sales to a poverty-fighting nonprofit each month. That's 3% of every meal, every bite, every sip - eat-in, takeout, and delivery.

The Elephant Walk in Waltham's cause for the Spring Quarter is Improving Education.
This month we are proud to renew - for the third consecutive May - our support of Future Chefs as beneficiary of our 33nd month as a Benefit Restaurant® at The Elephant Walk in Waltham!
As a Benefit Restaurant®, we commit the second month of each quarter to a regional nonprofit. We will be donating to Future Chefs 3% of our May 2012 sales.
Founded in 2007, Future Chefs™ is a privately-funded, school to career program working with high school culinary arts students in the Greater Boston area.
Future Chefs’ mission is to prepare motivated youth for high quality early employment and post secondary educational opportunities in the culinary field.
Future Chefs™ uses a youth development model in which youth participate in planning, leading and evaluating their program. Students earn scholarships and apprenticeships for post-secondary training. Young participants develop a career plan and receive coaching through caring and supportive relationships with educators, staff and industry mentors.
We're proud that Future Chefs is our annual May beneficiary!
